ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia burn victim died after spending more than a month in burn center in Augusta.

Danny Hudson died Saturday.

The electrician was severely burned in an explosion at a saw mill on May 15th.

His friend and co-worker Stephen Spell collapsed and died after putting the fire out and rushing Hudson to the hospital.

A blood drive in their honor will go ahead as planned this Friday at the old Ocilla Elementary School.
