ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Homicide detectives with the Albany Police Department spent the overnight hours investigating the city's second homicide of the year.
Right now police have few details in the case but tell us the victim, who is only described as a black man, died at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital from injuries recieved sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
Investigators questioned witnesses but aren't saying how the man was killed only that they are treating the case as a homicide.
Early on, police were called out to the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue but so far, the scene of the crime is not known.
