ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of South Georgia families honored the special men in their lives this Father's Day. And a few did that outside with a day at the park. We found several families Sunday morning at Turtle Grove Park.
And with temperatures in the triple digits on this first day of summer, many fathers joined their children in the riverfront fountain.
The Graham family tell us taking time out at least once a year to honor fathers is the least they can do.
"He does a lot of stuff. He works really hard. He has always brought home the money and paid the bills. He spends time with the kids, takes them out and plays with them. He tries to guide them with the life choices that they make," said Frances Graham.
Father's Day always falls on the third Sunday in June and is celebrated in 52 countries on this day.
