Albany- A South Georgia teacher has written a book about his experiences as an athlete in the South.
Bill Lightle signed copies of "Made or Broken: Football and Survival in the Georgia Woods." The book is about a football camp Albany High sponsored for about fifty years next to Muckalee Creek.
He says the book includes his memories and insight into the Albany Civil Rights Movement through sports.
Lightle writes a column in the Albany Herald and teaches in the Dougherty County School system.
