ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Another show at the Albany Civic Center is in limbo because of poor ticket sales.

The Ricky Smiley and Friends comedy show scheduled for next Saturday has been postponed.

Only about 500 tickets out of 4,200 were sold.

Civic Center managers expect to find out late next week whether the show will be rescheduled or canceled.

"The national and regional promoters who bring the big name shows to our community, they need help to come here. The problem with this show is even if it's postponed at this point this promoter has already spent between $7,000 to $10,000," said John Mazzola, Civic Center Director.

Anyone who wants a refund should return their ticket to the place of purchase.
