South Georgia Wildcats fans are glad the former Westover High star is still in the deuce.
Savage is now 11th in AF2 history in receptions and tenth in touchdowns.
Savage is one of a few players who can say he has won a national championship in college at Oklahoma and a pro championship when Spokane won the AF2 title in 2006.
He returned to his hometown Wildcats last year and has been a part of two outstanding group of receivers.
Savage has caught 19 touchdown passes this season and is on pace for another 1000 yard season.Antwone Savage said. "It just makes me feel good. It lets me know that I get it out there and do the same thing that guys who have been playing twice as long as I have and I am still in the same category that they are."
The Wildcats are on the road Saturday at Kentucky and again next week at Florida.
