Home invasion in Thomas county leaves two women frightened

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomas county investigators are looking for two men who robbed a mother and daughter at gunpoint in their home.

Around nine o'clock last night investigators say two men driving a gray four door Dodge Pick up truck pulled into a mobile home park at 1525 Summerhill Road.

They forced their way into 57-year-old Sandra McDougale and 76-year-old Lila Wireman's home with a gun and robbed them.

The men covered their faces with t-shirts.

Neighbor Susan Cook saw the truck pull in and didn't think anything of it until she saw blue lights outside her home.

"It makes me feel scared to even go in my own home," said Cook.

Cook says she's seen the Dodge pickup in the neighborhood before.
