46-year-old Michael Vona was incarcerated last month on charges of financial transaction card fraud and identity theft. He owned Boom Fitness on Norman Drive.
More than 80 gym members filed complaints about Vona's actions with their accounts.
Valdosta Police say each victim in the case lost an average of $200.
