Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A 16-year old has been arrested for robbing and trying to kill a pizza delivery man earlier this month.
Roy Whitfield, Jr. is being held in the Youth Regional Detention Center on armed robbery, aggravated assault, gang participation and other charges for the June 5th shooting of 49-year old Tim Monette.
He was delivering pizza for Papa Johns at 1503 West Gordon Avenue when he was shot in the back of the head during an ambush. His car was then stolen and wrecked during a chase by police. Other arrests are expected.
28-year-old Demecko Mathis is still listed as a person of interest in the case. Police would like to speak to him regarding his knowledge of the robbery.
