MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - One of two men charged in the September shooting death of a Moultrie man is sentenced for his role in the crime.
Richard Lebon Revels, Junior of Thomasville pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a first offender probationer, and was sentenced to serve 20 years.
Revels and Gregory Denson of Quitman were charged with shooting and killing Marquis Thornton in September.
Thornton's body was found in the front yard of this home on East Central Avenue.
Dramourno Jones was also shot in the leg. Denton's trial has been delayed twice.
