BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - Four young men are in jail for breaking into dozens of cars in Decatur county, including the Sheriff's.

Wednesday night deputies arrested 17-year-old Joshua Jackson along with a 15 and 16 year old.

Thursday they arrested 21-year-old Michael Cox.

Investigators say the four young men broke into Sheriff Wiley Griffin's vehicle and his wife's vehicle at their home in the Douglas Hills subdivision last Monday.

The thieves got away with his gun and his wallet. Both items have since been recovered.

The suspects are accused of breaking into ten cars in the River Oaks subdivision Tuseday and two cars parked along Barber Road.

Guns, G-P-S systems, money, and several other items were stolen in the break-ins.

Investigators anticipate making more arrests.
