    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Thomasville - Three elderly women are killed in a car crash in Thomas County.

A car driven by 89-year-old Nell Leach crossed into the path of another car on Georgia Highway Three last night. Leach and two passengers, 89-year-old Margaret Stewart and 90-year-old Eleanor Forester, were killed.

Leach was attempting to turn left onto Timber Ridge Drive when she pulled in front of a car driven by 29-year-old Jennifer Michaels of Thomasville.

Michaels was not hurt, but she was charged with driving under the influence.
