Albany - Dougherty County says good bye to three commissioners who have a combined 58 years of public service. Commission Chairman Lamar Reese and Commissioners George Brown and Connie Meier sat in their last county meeting Monday morning. Hundreds came to a reception honoring the commissioners' years of public service.

Reese lead the county commission for 4 years and served on the school board for nearly 20 years. Brown has served on the commission for 21 years and Meier 16 years. New commissioners William Hall and Chuck Lingle and new chairman Jeff Sinyard will be sworn in at the beginning of the year.
