ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two suspected armed robbers are in the Tift County jail.

26-year-old Melissa Ann Edwards and 36-year-old Gary Wayne Ansley are charged with robbing the Holiday Market in Kelltown Saturday night and the Stop Shop in Omega Thursday night.

Edwards was shot in the foot by a customer during the Kelltown robbery. That customer will not face any charges.

Ansley is also charged with forgery for making and using counterfeit bills in Thomas County, Moultrie and Tallahassee.
