ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With the summer travel period underway the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport is warning people about a change in security that could ground your vacation.
Starting August 15th the T-S-A will require the name on your ticket exactly match the name on your Driver's License or government issued ID.
Your frequent flyer account names must also exactly match your I-D name.
Airport Director Yvette Aehle said "That could really cause you a lot of hassles in August when the TSA starts checking your name on your ticket. You might be held back, you might not be allowed to board. So this is a very important program to alert people to go ahead and take care of now."
To change your frequent flyer account profile name, u need to fax a copy of your Driver's License to the Secure Flight program at 404-773-1945.
T-S-A has also tightened parking regulations at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport.
Anyone leaving their car parked unattended at the curb in front of the terminal will receive a $35 ticket. That area is for unloading only.
