ALBANY, GA (WALB) - On a peaceful summer day in De Sota this is where you'll find AJ Aycock. He comes here to practice three or four times a week. Fresh off winning the 4H State Championship in Georgia AJ's focused on his next challenge, the Junior Olympics.
"For my first year I did pretty good. I was a little nervous because you have all of these people that are out staring at you you know and you're just now starting so I'd say I did ok" said Aycock.
AJ qualified for last years Junior Olympics but didn't place.
"This year my goal is to at least place in the Junior Olympics if I can."
With a good performance at the Junior Olympics AJ could earn a spot on the National Development team competing all around the World.
"Try to do the best I can to go to the next level and work myself up but you've got to live and breathe it."
Shot by shot AJ is daring to dream and taking things one round at a time.
