THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - People in Albany got a chance to shop for clothes and jobs at the same time. The WALB Job Link Employment Expo was held at the Albany mall.

Eleven employers set up booths and talked with eager job-seekers, setting up future interviews and accepting applications. Hundreds of people, including Nathan Belcher, showed up to check it out.

"Well I came here to look for a job, because I've been looking for a job lately. And I really liked the people here, they all seem like they could give me a good opportunity to get a job," said Belcher.

Nathan says he's interested in joining the Army. The employers we spoke with were encouraged by the turnout. They said a lot of the prospective employees were well-qualified.
