ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are investigating the shooting of a teenager and two other reports of gunfire overnight. They're trying to determine whether they're related or connected to gangs.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning while walking on South Madision. Jaquinge Stills told Police two men in a red Ford Pickup truck pulled up and started talking talking to him about 1:00AM, then opened fire.

He was treated and released from the hospital.

About midnight, someone shot out a window at 1008 Willie Pitts Road. No one was hurt. Neighbors say a car with three men inside pulled up in the street, one man stepped out and shot the window several times.

About 6:30AM, another window was shot out in the 300 block of Drexel Street. The people who live there were asleep and uninjured.

Albany detectives and gang unit officers are investigating.
