Albany - The Albany Ballet Theater takes a little time to go over steps and put the finishing touches on this year's performance of the Nutcracker. Artistic director, Carol Mathis the dancers put a lot of effort into entertaining South Georgia each year.
Then, it was time for the show. Dancers say performing in the Nutcracker isn't easy. It takes a lot of hard work, sweat and sore feet to make the show a success.
And South Georgians it's the grace and elegance of the dancers that keeps them coming back each year, and they say it wouldn't be Christmas in Albany without the Nutcracker.
This year's Nutcracker also featured world renowned, Russian ballet dancers, Elena Martinson and Andrei Ustinov.
