MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie teen is recovering after an accident that authorities say was caused by drinking and driving.

State Troopers, Colquitt deputies, Moultrie police officers and the fire department were called to Rigs Store Road at 5:30 AM Sunday.

That was where 19-year-old Benjamin Daniel wrecked his Ford Explorer and was transported to the hospital.

He is now listed to be in critical condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Emergency crews say Daniel may be paralyzed.
