ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Police are still looking for the men responsible for sending a Papa Johns delivery driver to the hospital. 49-year-old Tim Monette is in good condition Sunday night after being shot in the back of the head.

Two men ambushed Monette, stealing his wallet and car, when he tried to deliver a pizza to 1503 West Gordon Friday night.

Saturday Albany Police got into a foot chase with two men who were believed to be in Monette's Black Chevy Cobalt.

Police have named 28-year-old Demecko Mathis a person of interest in this case. Mathis already has outstanding warrants for burglary, battery and a probation violation.

All of these charges are unrelated to Monette's shooting, but detectives do believe he may have played a role in the armed robbery.
