WORTH COUNTY, GA (WALB) - We are working to learn details in a police chase in Worth County that ended with the suspect in the hospital.

Few details have been released but, we know that Doerun Police was chasing a Honda Accord West on Highway 133 just after 5:30 AM Saturday morning.

The Accord crashed into a tree near the Worth County Colquitt County line. Worth County EMS transported that driver to Pheobe Putney Memorial Hospital.

At this time, the name of that driver, his condition, or why police were chasing him has not been released.
