ALBANY, GA (WALB) - World South Entertainment welcomed Rapper "Kno Gud" also known as Bobby Lee Swagga, and pop artist Ashley J, who signed their contracts at Platinum Sounds Recording Studio in Albany Friday.

World South has teamed up with Select-O-Hits national distribution company to get these two Albany artists known around the globe.

Kno Gud said that he was, "Fixin' to bring something new to the game. Try to put Albany on the map as far as a musical powerhouse."

Ashley J said, "I know there are other people that have been through the same situations I've been through, and it's my therapy to take it out in music."

Co-CEO Mario Meadows said, "We're trying to bring diversity to the music scene in Albany. We want to stay true to our roots with Kno Gud, but I feel excited about Ashley J signing, so it's a good day."

World South Entertainment formed in February of this year.
