Bainbridge - The public marina in Bainbridge is one step closer to start building.
The Army Corps of Engineers has written a public notice to advertise the dredging process on the Flint River.
That gives the public 30 days to ask the Corps for a public hearing or to make comments. The public marina will have a store, floating docks and fueling facilities.
A One Georgia grant gave the city 500-thousand dollars to build the marina. The marina is located at the end of Airport Road.
