TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) - While the Florida State baseball team is going for a second straight trip to Omaha, Leesburg's D'Vontrey Richardson is hoping to make his first trip to the college world series.

Richardson sat out last season to work on his grades.

This year a thumb injury kept him out of the lineup but D'Vo is healthy and ready to do what he can to help his team make it back to the College World Series.

The Seminoles can get there by beating Arkansas in the NCAA Super Regionals this weekend in Tallahassee.

D'Vontrye Richardson said. "Now it is a new year and we got a chance to get back to Omaha. I can try to, try to get there now."

Game one of the series at 12:00 p.m. on Friday and game two is also at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and game three if needed is Sunday.
