Albany- The temperatures are dipping and so are workers at Bruster's. They're just not dipping quite as often. Customers are buying more pints and cakes and less scoops.
Workers say what keeps people coming back is the ice cream that is made in the store, and their famous waffle cones. Bruster's employees say rain, sleet and even cold weather won't keep customers away from getting their favorite flavors, White Turtle and Butter Pecan.
So temperatures may get lower, but many say they still don't mind leaving the comforts of their warm homes, just to get a few scoops.
Many people also bring their pets to Bruster's for a free scoop of ice cream with a dog bone to top it off.
