Thanks to tips from you, a Dawson man who escaped while wearing handcuffs is back in jail.
22-year-old Joseph Spencer was picked up before daylight at a house on Orange Street in Dawson.
Two weeks ago, police caught him breaking into a car behind a doctor's office and arrested him.
But while they were booking him at the police station, he slipped away, still wearing handcuffs.
Police found him around 5:00AM Wednesday.
They charged two other people in the house with hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
