LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into possible sexual misconduct at the Lee County Jail.
The GBI began their investigation Friday at the request of Lee County Sheriff's officials. They're looking into allegations that two female jailers had inappropriate contact with two male inmates over the last month.
After the investigation is complete, the GBI will turn over their report to the District Attorney.
We spoke with Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals Monday who says he's disappointed and the investigation shows they won't tolerate any misconduct in the department.
