Florida murder suspect caught in Thomas county

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Florida man authorities say killed a 19-year-old man and wounded another last week was arrested in Thomas county over the weekend.

Police in Perry, Florida say 30-year-old Isaac Jackson and 24-year-old Rufus Lee, Junior shot and killed 19-year-old Henry Hughes at a barbershop there Monday night.

Saturday federal marshals told the Thomas county sheriff's office that Jackson was in the Thomasville area where he has family.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Jackson at the Kangaroo station at the intersection of Highway 84 and Highway 19.

He remains in the thomas county jail Monday night.  Law enforcers are still looking for the other murder suspect.
