ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany police are still looking for clues into what led to a shooting Saturday night. Just after 8:00 PM, 42-year-old Ricky Stewart was shot in the left hand in the 400 block of Gaines Avenue.

He was taken to Phoebe Putney for his injuries and released. So far, no arrests in the case.

One woman was injured with a box cutter during a fight in Albany. Officers were called to 1400  Madison Street at 12:40 PM Saturday.

40-year-old Kimberly Sims told police she was cut on her right hand with the sharp object during a fight with another woman.

Sims was treated at Phoebe Putney and released. The case remains under investigation.
