CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) - The Randolph Southern baseball team sent head coach Tim Goodin out in style in his last season with the Patriots.

Randolph Southern won the Class A state championship in 3 games over Terrell Academy.

The Patriots won game one 14-4, lost game two 4-2, and took the series with a 6-2 win in game 3 capturing the team's first state title in thirty years.

"It's even better beating them. It's unreal, I feel like I'm in a dream now we did it and its all real just pinch me" said outfielder Lee White.

"It hasn't really hit me yet I mean it feels good but it probably won't hit me until the next couple days" said pitcher Tanner Strong.

"Down the stretch we played almost error free and had some good pitching and timely hitting" said Randolph Southern head coach Tim Goodin.

"My hats off to Randolph Southern they did a great job their coaches do a great job and this series we knew going in from day one was gonna be a dogfight" said Terrell Academy head coach Ashley Walker.
