Valdosta - A South Georgia man stole a police car while police were trying to arrest him.

Twenty-seven year old Aaron Bazin was pulled over in Berrien County Monday night.  He struggled with the officer trying to arrest him for probation violation. When a backup patrol car arrived, the officers left the keys in the ignition, and Bazin jumped in and took off.

"He took off going over 100mph, but we finally got him to stop in Chaserville and it was a constant struggle even then," said Nashville Police Chief Jerry Lipsey.

Bazin is in the Berrien County jail charged with resisting arrest, stealing a police car, probation violation, and several other charges.
