Eagles, Patriots wait until Friday

CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) -  The start of the GISA Class A state championship series between Randolph-Southern and Terrell Academy has been moved back.

Randolph-Southern coach Tim Goodin says the field at Andrew College was simply too wet to play game one this afternoon.

Game one will start at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Game two is at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in Cuthbert and a game three if needed will follow.

Deerfield-Winsdor and Tattnall Square will finish their GISA AAA semifinal series at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tattnall Square has a 1-0 lead in the to of the third inning. 

The AA state championship series starts Monday at Tiftarea.

The Panthers will host the Heritage School.
