ALBANY, GA (WALB) -A Dougherty taxpayers group is appealing a decision by a Superior Court Judge that allowed the Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority to issue bonds.

The Dougherty County taxpayers association filed that appeal with the Georgia Court of Appeals Tuesday.

Last month, Judge Denise Marshall ruled that ADICA could go ahead with a plan to issue six million dollars in bonds to spur development downtown.

The taxpayers group says the bonds come with no strings attached as to how money was spent or allocated.
