Cairo - A South Georgia woman is scheduled to go to trial for murder.

Fifty-nine-year-old Martha Ann Johnson of Cairo was arrested in June after she called police saying she found her friend dead outside her trailer on 4th Avenue.

Police say, the friend, 45-year-old James Edward Herring, was stabbed to death.

Johnson's trial is expected to start Tuesday morning at the Grady County Courthouse.
