ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Wildcats chief financial officer Ryan Nolen has a big weekend of pre-game festivities planned for Saturday's big game against Bossier-Shreveport.

Nolen has also been working on a securing a new lease agreement with the city.

Both sides agreed to a one year deal for this season with the Wildcats looking for a longer team deal after that.

Nolen told WALB News Ten Sports this afternoon he has submitted a five year lease proposal to the city and the team is expected to meet with city commissioners on the issue next week.

Ryan Nolen said. "We are actually trying to renew our lease with the city of Albany. We actually submitted our request this past week and we hope to get that resolved by June."

The Wildcats have a special pre-game tailgate party this Saturday before the Bossier-Shreveport game.

It is the return of former Wildcats head coach Derek Stingley who is an assistant for the Battle Wings and many players from last year's team that won the AF2 South Division title.

This year's team is 7-2 and is in first place in the South division.

Ryan Nolen says there are discount tickets for Saturday's game with the Battle Wings for Veterans and current members of the United States Armed Forces.
