ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Three Albany Police Officers have been fired for misconduct.

Two of the officers were targets of an investigation into prostitution. The third was arrested after a romantic relationship with a co-worker that turned ugly.

Patrol Officer Taniece Harris was fired May 20th by the city for Violation of laws, and her Peace Officer Certification suspended.

February 20th Harris was arrested for damaging two personal cars of Patrol Officer Jermaine Lewis, and then detaining him by standing in the doorway of his patrol car while he was on duty.

Also fired were Corporals Bert Jones and David Stokes on May 20th.

They had previously been suspended in an investigation into activity with prostitutes.

Neither Jones nor Stokes has been charged with a crime.  The officers have ten days to appeal their firings.
