Albany- South Georgians say they are glad gas prices are down, so they can get more for their money. Many people said they dreaded buying gas when it was as high as $1.49 per gallon. Now with lower gas prices, they have more money in their pockets as they travel to and from their destinations.

At most gas stations around Albany, the highest price for gas was $1.19 per gallon for regular, and the lowest price was $1.13 per gallon.
