ALBANY, GA (WALB) -If you ever wanted to hand- feed an alligator,and who hasn't, the Parks at Chehaw is giving you your chance this holiday weekend.
Chehaw's Zoo has a new attraction, you can feed one of their alligators. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday this Memorial Day Holiday weekend you can feed one of the Parks alligators new nutritious gator food biscuits. $5 gets you a cup full of gator food. You keep the cup and for $2 more you can get a refill
Park Membership Coordinator Natasha Harper said "Most people want something more interactive when they come out to the zoo. So this is something we can offer that's interactive and fun. So I think a lot of people will be interested in doing this."
The alligator feeding program starts at 1:30 Saturday ,Sunday, and Monday this holiday weekend at the Parks at Chehaw.
It will be held every Saturday afternoon at 1:30 as a normal schedule.
