APD investigates multiple armed robberies

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is in jail now charged with two armed robberies within minutes of each other early this morning.  

27-year-old Erick Bowen was arrested outside an apartment at 113 Mitchell Avenue just after 2:00AM. Police say Bowen went inside the home as Benjamin Wallace and Zatoria Hayes slept and robbed them at gunpoint. 

Police say just minutes earlier, Bowen held up 58-year old James Felicetty at the BMW of Albany car dealership. Bowen is charged with three counts of armed robbery.

Police are also investigating a third armed robbery. Two men approached 16-year-old Tyler Strom about 10:15 in the 700 block of West Roosevelt.

One pulled a gun, pushed him against a wall And demanded money. They stole his cell phone and keys.
