Rain postpones GISA semifinals in South Georgia - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Thanks to mother nature, High school baseball fans in South Georgia will have to wait until Saturday to see semi-final action in the GISA state playoffs.

Rain cancelled a pair of games in South Georgia Friday. In Albany the Triple A semifinal between Deerfield-Windsor and Tatnall Square has been moved from Friday to Saturday at 11:00 with game 2 to follow.

In Chula rain has delayed the Double A semifinal matchup between Edmund Burke and Tiftarea.

Friday's game has been moved to Saturday at noon with game two to follow.
