ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  With the end of the school year, high school football fans know the 2009 season is about three months away.

Dougherty High coach Charles Flowers is looking forward to the coming season.

The Trojans are coming off their first playoff appearance in two years last season.

Dougherty returns a number of players from last season including running back Arabian Wiliams.

Finding a new quarterback is going to be a key offseason task after the graduation of Fort Valley State signee Felton Walls and the Trojans will have a new offensive coordinator.

Coach Flowers says the style of offense will not change that much.

"Having a nucleus of a good group guys back. We had a real good offseason program in the winter. We have been working hard in the weight room. I am excited about the guys we have" said Flowers.

Dougherty will open the 2009 season against Americus-Sumter.
