Albany- The Albany Police Department Explorer's Club helps the Salvation Army raise money for the holidays. The Explorer's Club was at Walmart Saturday, ringing bells to get people to put money in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle.

Many explorers say they love serving the community to help people who are less fortunate.

So far, the Salvation Army has raised fourteen thousand dollars from the Red Kettle Campaign. They hope to exceed the thirty thousand dollars they raised last year.
