Albany- Open Arms, Incorporated is making sure the community opens it's arms wide for foster kids during the holidays. Open Arms, Incorporated is collecting everything from dolls to video games to make sure Christmas isn't just another day for these kids.

The highlight of the drive was the area bands and choirs that performed that helped rally support from people, like Karen Collins. Collins says she doesn't mind writing this check to the organization because she wants all kids to have fond memories of Christmas. Several volunteers say working with these kids helps them realize what the true meaning of giving is.

With Christmas approaching very quickly, Open Arms Incorporated is making sure no foster child is left behind and everyone has something special under the tree.

If you would like to donate items to Open Arms, Incorporated, you can take your gifts to the their office at 601 Pine Avenue.
