VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Citizens Community Bank on Baytree Road in Valdosta was held up about 10:00AM.

The bank manager was shot in the leg. He was treated and has been released from South Georgia Medical center in Valdosta.

Police are searching the area for three men who wore ski masks during the robbery. The criminals were believed to have driven a white SUV.

"It's bad enough when you rob someone, but when you go into a place like that and arbitrarily just go in and start shooting, we just can't tolerate that," said Valdosta Police Cmdr. Brian Childress. "We still have detectives and officers out there right now, working the scene. We've issued a lookout to Florida and Georgia."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Tip Line at 229-293-3091.
