Valdosta - As graduation time draws near, students at Valdosta State University are showing off their work and honoring local business for their learning experiences.
VSU Senior Public Relations students hosted a special symposium to highlight their program and recognize several area businesses who've provided them with internships.
"They really give us a chance to get hands-on, real world experience that gives us the professional mannerisms we need to get a job in the future," said Shanna Cape, Senior Public Relations Major.
VSU is one of only 10 universities in the nation with a P.R. program certified by the Public Relations Society of America.
