VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - New details are coming out about the accidental shooting death of a seven-year-old Valdosta boy.

On Monday night, Ali Gillard received a fatal shot to the back of the head.  His ten-year-old brother, Daunte Gillard, shot him with a handgun the two boys had found in their home on the 1100 block of Ponderosa Drive.

It turns out the boys' mother, Tiffany Berrien, was home at the time of the accident.  Police are still investigating how the boys got hold of the gun, and say charges may be made later this week.

Ali's body was transported to the state crime lab last night for an autopsy.
