Four Syrupmakers sign college scholarships

CAIRO, GA (WALB) - Cairo High's JaCourtney Alexander is headed to Troy State on a track scholarship.

Alexander has won two region titles in cross country and was eighth in the state in the 100 meter dash.

Two of her Syrupmaid basketball teammates Kiyanna Masten and Lakesha Simon have signed to play for the Albany Tech Lady Titans.

Cairo basketball player Kentrail Brown has signed with Jeff Davis Community College in Brewton, Alabama.

Brown averaged 14 points a game this season for Isiah Chance's Syrupmaker basketball team.
