DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A soldier from Sylvester pleaded guilty to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of militarily equipment in Iraq.

32-year-old Sergeant First Class Roy Greene, Junior is charged with conspiracy to steal government property.

Greene and two other soldiers are accused of stealing a bus, eight trucks, 19 generators, five trailers and other items sold to an Iraqi business man.

The soldiers received anywhere from 400-thousand to a million dollars for the stolen items. Greene now faces up to five years in prison.
