
The Turner County basketball team has had an incredible run with three straight final four appearances and back to back state runner-up finishes.
Four players who played major roles in all of those wins are ready to continue their college careers.
Tray Pearce is headed to South Carolina State.
Pearce averaged 19 points a game this season.
Ternell Davis is headed to Southwest Missouri State in West Plains, Missouri.
Davis had committed to Chipola but changed his committed when the Indians had a coaching change.
Davis said. "It fits just right. Coach talked to me. He says I am going to be a go to guy. That is what I am looking forward doing."
Pearce said. "It is going to be great chance to get better. Become a better player and hopefully play in the NCAA tournament."
Turner County's Jamal Burgess becomes the latest member of Sylvester Patterson's recruiting class at Albany Tech.
Burgess averaged seven points a game.
Ja'Von Carswell will play football in college.
Carswell will be a preferred walk-on at Albany State.
